4 Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Student Services Middle School Coach builds positive relationships with students to support their success.
The Coach supports the work of the Student Services Team (SST) by providing effective supervision of all areas of the school.
The Coach will monitor hallways and common areas to ensure students are safe and orderly at all times.
The Coach also provides direct supervision to students who have lost privileges or have been placed on disciplinary restriction, including those placed on in-school suspension.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but not limited to:
) Supervises and monitors common areas during student arrival, lunch, and afternoon dismissal; Supports the Deans office and other members of the Student Services Team in ensuring a safe and orderly school environment, including helping the management of student issues, behavioral concerns, and crises; Responds to requests for support from teachers and administration; Helps support teachers in the classroom to improve student behavior and academic performance/achievement; Integrates Sizers restorative justice approach to student discipline; Directly supervises students who have been placed on disciplinary restriction, including in-school suspension; Coordinates work retrieval for students placed on in-school suspension and provides appropriate academic support; Models appropriate behavior and displays professional conduct at all times; Prepares documents and reports and maintains files that contain sensitive and confidential information; Models and encourages community practices that are consistent with the Common Principles of the Coalition of Essential Schools; Adheres to the policies and procedures of Sizer School; Remains highly visible during school hours; Reports concerns to an administrator in a professional and timely manner; and All other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
