The successful candidate will posses 5
years experience in a related field, such as Accounting and/or Cost Accounting. Specific experience in Printing/Manufacturing Estimating is a plus.
The right candidate must have the ability to work closely with others at all levels of the organization as well as strong spreadsheet and organizational skills.
Job Summary
Responsible for diversified duties to prepare job quotes. Duties include: estimating job costs, preparing quotes, and other similar duties pertaining to job estimating.
Duties require verbal and written communications skills, visual acuity to written and computer screen data, and manual coordination and dexterity in the operation of computer equipment, as well as, above average math skills and keen attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions
1. Prepare customer quotes for printing and converting work. Receive requests for quotes. Analyze job specifications such as product type, paper type, yardage, ink coverage, plate costs and art work, required converting operations, shipping costs etc. Calculate such as labor rates, machine costs, overhead costs, etc. Enter data into spreadsheet and prepare quotes. Forward quotes for review and approval. Perform various cost analysis as requested.
2. Maintain and update estimating database. Enter data to update standard and variable costs in the spreadsheet program for estimating jobs.
3. Communicate directly with customers and customer service representatives to resolve questions regarding quotes, and reduce issues until quote is completed.
We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
