Counter Person
F.W. Webb, the Northeast's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking full-time Counter Person at its Fitchburg, MA location.
Responsibilities:
Take orders from customers
Pull orders
Create transfers for customers
Check on parts, pricing and availability from outside vendors for customers
Put away counter stock daily
Fill pipe racks daily
Face shelves daily
Write bids
Work with Returns & Purchasing Manager on fire sale items
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous counter experience preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task
Must possess a high level of customer service
Create transfers between various FW Webb locations
Assist Clients with product selection
Obtain specialty material through the use of purchase orders
Effectively handle customer service issues
Schedule and manage customer deliveries
Produce bids for customer approval
Manage credits to FW Webb standards
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
